Some interesting rhetoric is coming out of Comcast as they continue to bleed money in spite of their overly expensive cable and internet services.  How they loose money while hitting up customers for twice the price of DSL lines is beyond me.  They’re even cheeper to install and maintain!  My favorite quote from all that?

“Despite all the huge amount of advertising and rhetoric from the (phone) companies, they’re having to heavily discount the (high speed Internet service) business to get the momentum that we have,”

That’s one Jim Alchin, CFO over at Comcast.  My only thought on that is “yea, sure, they’re looking to follow that downward momentum you’re so happy about”.  I can’t imagine how they’re bleeding money away… they’ve actually got a monopoly in the markets they serve!
