Looks like the boys over at The Register didn’t like the Yahoo! Go! mobile phone software suite much.  And from the report, with good reason.  Somone over at Yahoo thought that cramming an entire suite of what look to be underconfigured PC software onto a mobile phone was a good idea.

Needless to say, it’s not any more fun on a phone than it is on a palmtop.  Less so, since now you don’t even have the pretense of using a computer to contend with.

You’re on a device that’s primarily for chatting with other people over a phone network.  When the suite interferes with what that devices primary function is, it ceases to be a useful tool and starts being an irksome irritation.
