It seems that when you’re one of the biggest Monopolies in the world, you simply buy everything. That’s what this article over at ZDNet is implying, stating that Microsoft spent huge gobs of money on political contributions and buying off anyone that an opposition could hire to argue a case against them.
The scale at which the do things like this is staggering, if true. I guess when you’ve got that much money, why bother with worrying about doing anything illegal. Just buy whatevers necessary so you won’t be tried.
