Apparently the antitrust commision of the EU has been non-plussed with Microsofts attempts to placate them. The Redmondites appear to be trying to play off the commision and buy some time to replace their self-appointed regulator with… well… someone that’s even more on their side.
Looks like the EU commision thought about as much as I did of their offer to release the “source code” instead of a well defined set of specifications. Almost makes me think those boys n’ girls have some competent people working for them. US regulators sit up and take notice, please.
