There’s a press release out of .. well .. I’m not sure where, exactly, on Microsoft vs. the EU. Professor Barrett has impecible credentials and seems to have reasonable expectations of Microsoft in the antitrust matter.
Seems like they want to simply get “off the hook” as it were, the same as they did in the USA. Or better yet, have an entire market handed to them as part of the “settlement”. There’s nothing like hampering a monopoly by forcing it on more markets…
