Looks like the French caught wind of the fact that DRM doesn’t impinge on copyright infringment, only lawful use. They’re proposing to allow DRM circumvention to transfer files between devices.
Also in the bill is a measure to make Apple open up their iTunes store for competitors. Apparently they’re starting to look a bit too much like a monopoly
