I know. I know. You’re thinking that pie both exists and is a tasty dessert that compliments many American and European dishes. But today we’re talking about the number rumoured to be ~3.14.

It doesn’t exist. Now, you might have an argument to the contrary. But if you can find me a perfect circle somewhere, or possibly run out the numbers for me, I’ll digress. Until then I’m going to call it a hypothesis and leave it at that.

There are dissentors in those of you in “mathy” circles out there. Probably the same type of people that produce shows on NPR celebrating the ficticious PI’s holiday on March the 14th which leads to me going on about it at length.
So fudge the numbers for now and get back to me when there’s proof that PI works out. Natch.
