Turns out that the EC is just as baffled as we are on Microsoft’s latest press release concerning regulatory compliance.  Their shouting of “source code” and “free support” to the press apparently goes over about as well as a lead zepplin.

It turns out that “documented protocol” does mean the same thing on the other side of the pond.

That and they haven’t actually posited this to the European Commision, just the press.  No need to actually deal with the regulators on compliance issues, eh?
