So I went over to Staples and picked up one of there shiny new on-sale Acer AL1716 LCD flat-panel monitors. They’re just now coming in the 8ms variety that I’ve been looking for.
And I’ve gotta say, for 200$ it’s a whole lot of monitor. And it complements the new PCBurn office (now that the desk is down a good foot from where it was).
One of the upcoming articles here on the NEGeek will be building a computer desk. Designing this one was pretty fun, and I’ll share some of the engineering techniques that went into this one.
