Nothing is quite as cool (no pun intended) as using liquid metal for a mating surface. This thermal interface material (TIM) from Frozen CPU is metal in a liquid state for sticking between your non-aluminum heatsink and CPU.
My only real question with this is on the material that CPU covers are made with.. that always seemed to look like an aluminum piece on most CPU dies. And with those dire warnings on getting this stuff anywhere near aluminum I wonder if that was taken into account
