The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is having it’s 25th annual Cherry Blossom Festival. If you’re a Northern New-Englander like me you might want to drop by an partake in the festivities.

Aside from tea and the usual Asian arts section, there’ll be a performance by Gaijin a Go-Go, whom are (I’m told) a Japanese pop act of some acclaim.

Of course, out of the entire event posting the part that worries me is “workshops in tofu making and calligraphy art”. They go together like lime and bullfighting. Of course, it helps when you accidentaly miss the and in that phrase :) .

So, if you’re able to make it down to Brooklyn stop by and partake of some tea and festivities. If not, I’m sure I’ll have some pictures for you barring some unforseen kerfuffle (knew I’d be able to stick that in somewhere).
