Patricia Vance, President, ESRBNow, this is just a suggestion. But I think Patricia Vance, president of the ESRB needs some sort of “persuasion device” to deal with congress.  Either that or we need to replace her with someone with the IQ of a turnip that won’t actually take their job seriously, but will stoicly dissemble to the congress critters.

Sure, she’s smart, and has a long list of credentials qualifying her for the job.  But as long as a hick Senator can’t distinguish between his fantasies and the reality of video games we need someone a little more low-brow.  Things like “facts” and “reality” just aren’t going to come into play, and a little more truth(iness) needs to be thrown about to muddle the waters and placate Congress while nothing actually happens.

Then they can get on to important matters.  Like deciding where to burn the books.
