The Penny Arcade! folks decided to take a week off and put up some kiddie art from a class they were speaking at (lucky kids).

For commentary, they’re featuring various gaming associated folks.  Todays is Steve Bowler of Midway on how he got into gaming via a very circutious route.

I’ve got to give him props for putting up a well written and, more importantly, emmenently readable piece.  What stuck out at me was this quote about putting together a Christian Kids animation:

But worst of all was “The Crippled Lamb.” This was easily, without question the most horrible project I’ve ever had to work on, and I’ve had to animate a medieval Rapunzel Barbie.

Christian childrens animation kills artists, folks.  Avoid where possible.

And in the meantime go give Steve’s piece a read. It’s good.
