They’ve decided to do away with the hand crank in favor of a less strenuous pull string design.  In addition to it working out better overall, it also generates more power.

The British appear to have come up with a more effective drug cocktail to fight multiple sclerosis.  No word on the actual *cost*, which is generally the sticking point in this type of thing.

Seems that Ford is posting quite a hefty loss for the quarter. With the rise of gas prices people are suddenly thinking twice about that 17mpg SUV.
With their most efficient regular model car coming in around 30mpg (awful compared to Toyota’s standard car top-end of 40mpg) they’re fairly well stuck.
