In an effort to show that the term “googling” isn’t ubiquitous for search Google is trying to stifle the press from using it.
They’ve asked very politely that the various wonks and journalist out there not use the term “googling” repeatedly to refer to generic search. Such as “did you google that chick” or “I […]

Dan over at Jack of All Blogs has taken up the question of what ya’ll think of SEO (search engine optimization).
Good thing?  Bad thing?  Does it make you gnash your teeth or whistle a sweet, sweet tune while thumbing through a stack of 20s? Or is it a non issue?

Out of Boston comes some news on a sage decision from Google.
Instead of foolishly creating its own browser, Google has decided to rely on the browsers of others.  Maybe Microsoft could take a page from that book and focus on core competencies instead of constantly chasing the Next Big Thing ™.

The court dismissed all of the complaints […]

I think I’ll stick to keeping my information on my own fallable 8 drive array.  […]

Let me explain.  One of Microsoft’s favorite marketing ploys is to pre-announce a product in a market they’d like to compete in months, years, or even indefinately (in the case it’s never produced) before they actualy come out with a product, just to kill the competition.
Because hey, if MS is releasing XYZ 2000, why buy […]
